One of the things I miss about my childhood is writing letters. When I was a kid I had correspondence friends all over Brazil. I still have all the letters I received at the time and I have no intention of getting rid of them. These letters are an important piece of my childhood, of how I became who I am today.
I have recently discovered the Letter Writers Alliance, which is an organization dedicated to keeping the art of letter writing alive. One of the things I really liked about them is the Pigeon Post! Yes, you read correctly, they have a Pigeon Post. Of course, it’s not a live Pigeon, but the idea is great al
l the same. As you can see on the pictures, they have a Pigeon that has a pouch for you to put your letter, and then you just need to put the stamps and put the Pigeon in the mail box. The Letter Writers Alliance is based in Chicago, IL, in case you were wondering.
Amazing idea, isn’t it? It just made me want to write letter again. Anyone wants a pen friend?
